Since exploding onto the UK scene in 2019, The Meffs have built up a reputation as purveyors of frantic punk rock and an absolute must-see live sensation.
Broken Britain Part 1 & 2, the Frank Turner produced EPs have attracted attention from music lovers and industry pundits alike.
What followed was The Libertines frontman, Peter Doherty, asking The Meffs to open for him as part of his Battered Songbook Tour, and The Meffs first UK headline tour which saw them playing to fans both old and new in sold out venues across England, Scotland and Wales.
One such fan happened to be Fat Mike from NOFX and, as a result, the Broken Britain records have been released on his new label, Bottles to the Ground, sister label to Fat Wreck Chords. Fat Mike invited The Meffs to join NOFX on three dates of their final ever world tour - Leeds UK, Hatfield UK, and SBAM Fest in Austria - which saw them play to their biggest crowds to date... Until Download 2023! Taking to the Dogtooth Stage at Download's 20th anniversary to chants of "Up The Meffs, Up The Meffs", the band played to countless fans who sang, moshed, crowd-surfed, and kicked up dust with a huge circle pit, leading to rave reviews, with many naming The Meffs as one of the best bands of the whole festival.
What's next for The Meffs? More sell out shows. More music releases. More merch. And more fans. Tell your nan, tell your boss, tell your ex-wife’s cousin; Up The Meffs!.
