Groovy Arts Club Night for Charity (War Child & Anglia Care Trust) featuring The Groovy Arts Club Band / Lauryn & Pat / Mel & Marcel / Rob Prince

  • The Smokehouse 6 South Street Ipswich, England, IP1 3NU United Kingdom (map)

The Groovy Arts Club Band …

are a four-piece band, playing original songs (their mini-album ‘Starla Beads’ is released on Spotify & all digital platforms) influenced by New Wave & classic rock music. In the last couple of years they have gained a strong reputation for their energetic performances at well-known London venues, including the iconic Dublin Castle, Camden (where they regularly host a Groovy Arts Club Night) & the world-famous Gaz’s Rockin Blues, Wardour St, Soho.

Lauryn & Pat …

are from misty Mistley and describe themselves as harmonious and folk-hearted: Lauryn on guitar & vocals with Pat on virtuoso violin. Their melodies take you on a trip through the woods, across seas, arriving at an enchanted land of green, with a touch of Laurel (Lauryn!) Canyon.

Mel & Marcel …

are Manningtree's favourite Alt-Pop duo, who perform their own quirky brand of music with songs about the madness of life as they observe it: from dementia through hot flushes to the pointlessness of war, no subject is off limits. And, of course, no Alt-Pop set is complete without a bit of flugelhorn!

Rob Prince …

is a talented singer-songwriter from Manningtree, Essex, who has been crafting moving melodies for over 25 years. Blending indie-folk with various genres, his music captures life's stories and experiences. With 16 songs available across all platforms, Rob's music is sure to resonate with listeners
