Anrufen is an experimental musician and producer based in Newmarket, Suffolk, known for crafting intricate soundscapes using guitars, pedals, and samplers. Their music blends ambient, math rock, and experimental beats, creating a distinctive and captivating auditory experience.
On December 13, 2023, Anrufen released the album Miniatures, a collection of 30 tracks, each precisely one minute long. This album highlights their innovative approach to composition, showcasing concise yet evocative musical expressions.
Anrufen’s music weaves delicate, evocative soundscapes that balance introspection and intensity. With shimmering guitars, layered textures, and intricate rhythms, their compositions echo a sense of wonder and melancholy, inviting listeners into a world of quiet reflection and raw emotion.

There Are No Birds Here is the project of Suffolk-based sound artist Matthew Shenton, who explores absence in rural soundscapes through experimental compositions.
His work often incorporates manipulated field recordings and electronics, creating abstract soundscapes that reflect the unique character of the East Anglian landscape.
Notable releases include "Ulfkell's Land," a collection of drones and bleeps inspired by the Suffolk landscape, and "Stryance," influenced by the history of the East Anglian coastline.
He has also collaborated with Isolated Community on "We Are The Wreckage Of Our Former Selves," combining manipulated field recordings and electronics over abstract soundscapes.
